In a nut shell, Man Hunt is nothing more than a TDM where you have only one life. We play with tags off, friendly fire on and clays kill all. We use Teamspeak and you MUST be in Teamspeak to participate in our Man Hunt.
When you are dead (dead is when you no longer have a med timer), you have to get out of the game and switch back to the lobby in Teamspeak. You will have the option at that point to come back in as a spectator. If you have a med timer and a medic revives you, you stay in the game. Once you are dead, you may NOT talk to your teammates anymore. While you have a med timer, you CAN give intel to your team.
If you have never experienced JO as a spectator, you should check it out. It is interesting to say the least.
Occasionally we encounter a med glitch where a medic can’t revive a player that has a med timer. As long as the medic wasn’t the player that inflicted the injury that he/she is trying to med, they should be able to revive the injured player. If they can not do so, we allow the injured player to respawn at their ‘X’ spawn.
The winning team is determined by having the most players alive when the game timer runs out -or- if your team kills all of your opponents before the game timer runs out.
Man Hunt style of play slows the game play way down. Running will get you killed! It takes teamwork and strategy to win. It WILL get your heart pumping!
